About Us
Absolute Energy is a residential solar and energy company serving homeowners across Central Virginia. We install solar arrays, battery storage, EV chargers, and smart panels, and we handle service upgrades from start to finish. We don't cut corners. Every system we put on a roof is built to last, and every crew member goes home safe at the end of the day.

The Role
We're building out our install team and need dependable roof-side installers who take pride in clean, watertight, code-compliant work. You'll work with a small crew on residential rooftops, ground mounts, and occasional commercial jobs.

What You'll Do

• Install racking, rails, flashing, and solar modules on asphalt shingle, metal, and other roof types
• Locate rafters, lay out arrays, and seal every penetration properly
• Run conduit and wire management on the roof and work alongside our electricians
• Set up and use fall protection, ladders, and safety equipment on every job
• Keep job sites clean and treat every customer's home with respect
• Load and unload equipment and materials and keep the truck organized

What We're Looking For

• Roofing, solar, or construction experience preferred (we'll train the right person)
• Comfortable working at heights in all seasons
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet all day
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• A safety-first mindset and attention to detail
• Bonus: OSHA 10/30, NABCEP PV Associate, or prior solar install experience

Pay & Growth

• Entry level / helper: $18–$21/hr
• Experienced installer: $22–$27/hr
• Crew lead: $27–$32/hr
• Overtime available during peak season
• Clear path from helper to installer to crew lead

Benefits:

• Competitive pay based on experience
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• Paid time off and holidays
• Tools and gear provided
• Opportunities to grow into lead and crew leadership roles
• Supportive team culture focused on quality and integrity
