Crooked River Building Supply is seeking an experienced, motivated Building Materials Sales Representative to join our growing team. As the area's leading Marvin dealer, we have built our reputation by providing premium products, expert guidance, and exceptional customer service to builders, remodelers, contractors, architects, and homeowners throughout Northeast Ohio.

Our product portfolio includes windows, doors, millwork, siding, hardware, and other specialty building products. As demand continues to grow, we are looking for a sales professional who is passionate about building relationships, identifying customer needs, and helping clients select the right products for every project.

This position offers the opportunity to manage an established customer base while actively developing new business. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, thrives in a consultative sales environment, and is comfortable working both in the field and in the showroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with builders, contractors, remodelers, architects, and homeowners.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers through exceptional service and consistent follow-up.
• Meet with customers in homes, job sites, and our showroom to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Perform accurate field measurements and site assessments to ensure proper product specifications.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely quotations, estimates, and sales proposals.
• Coordinate with internal team members, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure accurate ordering and timely delivery of products.
• Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and manufacturer updates to confidently educate customers.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to overall company growth.
• Represent Crooked River Building Supply with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of successful outside or consultative sales experience.
• Experience selling windows, doors, millwork, or siding is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of residential construction methods, remodeling, or carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable using computers and business software for estimating, email, and customer management.
• Ability to travel throughout Northeast Ohio for customer visits and job-site appointments.
